He did a great job dealing with us all, suggesting the quantity of dishes for the mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian across the table. We had a lovely memorable evening. 5 MILLIONS stars over and over! From the start, Meson Sabika blew us away. For starters, the venue is so unique. The staff went above and beyond answering emails and phone calls at any hour of the day (and the occasional 11pm email). We planned our wedding from a distance but Katie and Nick made it SO easy it was as if we were there. Oh my gosh – don’t even get me started on the food! AH-mazing! Our guests continue to rave about their dishes!
Then the day of was flawless…minus the sideways hail storm which occurred at 2pm…right as we were supposed to d our first look at Meson Sabika. I will never forget Katie telling me it was too late to rearrange the reception hall and that we would move the ceremony to the dance floor. I remember the tears welling up and me shaking my head “no”. In that moment, Katie was my friend and not just staff. Before I could say anything she said to not worry and that the staff would make it work so we could have the ceremony inside by the beautiful windows instead of the dance floor. THEY ARE AMAZING! The rain blew through, the sun came out for cocktail hour, and no one even noticed the staff as they transitioned the floor, yet again, for the reception. I cannot say enough about Meson Sabika. These last few days have been filled with so much joy and love as we look back at pictures and talk with guests who were at our wedding. Truly, we cannot thank you enough. From the moment we got engaged and decided to have our wedding in my hometown of Naperville, I immediately knew I wanted to have my reception at Meson Sabika. It is such a gorgeous venue and the entire staff is amazing. We started out working with primarily with Julie Bell who was fantastic; but let the position well in advance of our date. From there I worked closely with Katelyn Smith, Katie Williams, and Nick Vera, who all manage wedding/events and the transition was so seamless. They are all experts at what they do and know how to make your dream wedding into reality. During our final detail appointment they asked me so many questions I hadn’t even though of and truly helped make our wedding into the BEST DAY EVER. I have so many good things to say about everyone we worked with at Meson Sabika. I sent hundreds of emails in the course of our planning process and I got a quick response back every time. We had a budget and decided to have our wedding during off season to help with some of the cost. There is a minimum and everyone worked with us to stay as close to that as as close to our budget as possible by offering tons of different options. Overall, we had a great experience with you and your fellow staff. We greatly appreciated the organization and peace of mind leading up to the day knowing that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Food/Service: The food was great. I heard nothing but good things from many of our guests. For some, it was their first tapas experience. We even had one guest that loved the Jamón Serrano so much that he made a bulk order of Manchego cheese so that he could make some himself the very next day. The service, from our perspective, was very efficient. The timing of the different plates was seamless. The bar, also, never seemed to have too long of a line.
Planning: During the wedding planning process, the events team was very prompt and thorough in their responses which was very much appreciative.

All of my guests expressed appreciation for the lovely venue and really enjoyed the day. My family and I were there for my 1 year wedding anniversary. It was great. Sat outside. Weather was beautiful. Food was good and our waitress was great! Brought a champagne toast to end the evening. Loved it ! Love when the service goes above and beyond for you. This was our third time and it was the best yet.

Everything on the menu is fantastic. There is an intense fear of missing out when you order. Should I order another serving of what I just had or try something new? Every dish is better than the next. The wine list is also excellent, full of great Spanish wines to explore.

This is my third time at Mesón. I’ve tried a variety of the tapas and they are excellent. Since I have celiac disease I’ve always ordered the gluten free tapas and they are delicious and I haven’t had any cross contamination issues.
Mesón Sabika is one of our favorite places to dine in the Naperville area. Their ambiance and outdoor seating cant be beat. Service is always top notch and for vegetarian options, they top the list for new and innovative plates to try for lunch or dinner. Sangria is GREAT and wine selection is fantastic! If you are a meat or fish eater, you will also love this place! Great for date night or large groups.
